RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) is the global standard certification for sustainable palm oil. This certification guarantees to consumers that palm oil production is carried out sustainably. The palm oil supply chain is highly complex, spanning from tropical regions to end products such as food, cosmetics, or candle wax. To ensure the credibility of the certification and a fully sustainable supply chain, all organizations involved must be RSPO certified. Originalhome’s candles are made from stearin derived from palm kernel oil, an RSPO-certified ingredient.
The WFTO (World Fair Trade Organization) is a global network of social enterprises fully committed to Fair Trade. Its guarantee system verifies that members put people and planet first, supporting upcycling, women’s empowerment, refugee rights and organic farming. WFTO businesses positively impact the lives of 1 million people, 74% of them women.
This certification identifies products and companies that guarantee their products are 100% vegan and contain no animal-derived ingredients.
