Handcrafted one-of-a-kind pieces from around the world

Every piece of jewelry by UMIWI is a handcrafted original, made with great attention to detail. In Thailand, we work closely with the Skillcenter Chiang Mai, where artistic pieces are created from mango wood and fine 925 sterling silver. This collaboration supports local craftsmanship and the Karen hill tribe, enabling them to build independent lives through their work.

Colorful glass bead necklaces from New Delhi

Our classic glass bead necklaces are produced by the aid organization “Tara” in New Delhi. Through this partnership, we support small artist groups and people from lower castes who often lack access to employment opportunities. With every purchase, you wear not only a beautiful accessory but also contribute to improving living conditions.

Precious jewelry from Mexico

In Mexico, we collaborate with jewelry designer Cynthia Lopez and her talented team to create precious jewelry from recycled silver and gold, as well as brass and hand-dyed sheep’s wool. This partnership supports local craftsmanship and Mazahua women who preserve centuries-old traditions by dyeing wool with natural materials.

A vision of fairness and development cooperation

At UMIWI, we believe in fair trade that offers artisans fair prices while encouraging creative independence. We work with social organizations and small communities to provide young people, women, and men from challenging backgrounds with new opportunities. By supporting UMIWI, you’re not only wearing beautiful jewelry, but also contributing to positive change in the world.
